Hey crafty friends! It’s a new day for CraftSwag!
Introducing CraftSwag MiniWorkshops.
A new series of mini workshops sharing tips and guidance to spark your creative flow (What’s “creative flow?” More on that in a minute). Each mini workshop will include a bonus design file (e.g. template, printable or cutting file)!
May 2014. Stay tuned for more details as the launch date approaches. Project sneaks using CraftSwag techniques and tips will be shared throughout the month!
A new mini workshop will be released and available from the CraftSwag Classroom every other month, leaving you some free time to step into your creative flow.
I’ve been paper crafting on and off for several years now and along the way I’ve picked up great techniques and project tutorials from many great teachers, however I struggled with finding the inspiration to design and create freely. I simply did not know where or how to start. What colors should I use? What form or layout should my design take? Eventually this frustration won. Here I was with a ton of paper, glue and embellishments, all going unused. I was uninspired. My designs (wait I had no designs to call my own) did not reflect my life, my feelings or the things I cherished the most. Until, I discovered a few techniques that jumpstarted my creative flow.
These tutorials will be less about recreating a specific designs, and more about using techniques to translate your inspiration into your own design (promise!) and finding your own creativeflow. Occasionally projects (and project-specific tutorials) created using the mini workshop techniques will be included.
The CraftSwag Classroom will open May 2014. This will be a terrific value for what you receive. More details (and sneak peeks) to come over the next month! I hope you are excited as I am! Take care and see you in class!
